A few select images from the latest Title 9 Sports holiday and spring model shoots

Just wrapped up the production and shooting of the Title 9 Sports summer and fall model shoots.  Working with real people models we traveled to dozens of locations throughout northern California.  This shoot had great activities, locations and models!  We found the last 10 remaining pumpkins in CA at Farmer John’s in Half Moon Bay and shot on his beautiful farm.  We surfed xtracycle bikes in the park and portaged beautiful wooden canoes on urban lakes thanks to Waterside Workshops!  Good fun!

Last week I was invited by Apple and the APA to present in their “Image Makers – Creativity Explored” series.  The presentation kicked off with my active lifestyle and sport imagery, my recent forays into video, and a discussion on how our professions and passions may be influenced by this fast changing media landscape.  Thanks to all who attended and for your lively discussion and thoughtful questions!!!

An evolution of the three short pieces below…

We put some new techniques and HD equipment to the test over this past week and shot world class triathletes, Chris and Matt Lieto, doing what they do best! Through capturing footage from not only the land, but also from the air and sea, we felt much better equipped to tell three short stories, each depicting one part of what goes into the triathlon. This project continues… but feel free to check out the teasers below!
